...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN LEHIGH...
CARBON...MONROE AND WESTERN NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 211 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Moscow to near Freeland to Coaldale.
Movement was east at 65 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Lehighton, Mount Pocono, Tobyhanna, Palmerton, Jim Thorpe,
Slatington, Nesquehoning, Weatherly, Walnutport, Pocono Pines, Lake
Harmony, Skytop, Tannersville, Long Pond, Kresgeville, Sun Valley,
Reeders, Beltzville State Park, McMichael and Canadensis.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
