...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 AM EDT FOR
CAMDEN...NORTHERN GLOUCESTER...CENTRAL CHESTER AND DELAWARE
COUNTIES...

At 221 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavier showers within a
narrow corridor continues to move across much of the advisory area.
Heavy rain at times is occurring, with radar estimating up to 1.5
inches of rain has fallen in some areas. The runoff from the
repeated heavier showers will result in minor flooding in the
advisory area.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
West Chester, Gloucester City, Chester, Deptford, Voorhees, West
Deptford, Glassboro, Lindenwold, Coatesville, Bellmawr, Yeadon,
Westtown, Woodbury, Pitman, Downingtown, Berlin, Folcroft,
Swarthmore and Paulsboro.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

A Flood Advisory means stream flows are elevated, or ponding of
water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
