...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM EDT FOR
WARREN...NORTHERN LEHIGH...CARBON...SOUTHWESTERN MONROE AND
NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 1213 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
minor flooding in the advisory area. One to two inches of rain has
already fallen for some areas.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Allentown, Easton, Lehighton, Bethlehem, Forks, Northampton,
Hackettstown, Wilson, Washington, Hellertown, Nazareth, Palmerton,
Bangor, Jim Thorpe, Slatington, Pen Argyl, Nesquehoning, Wind Gap,
Bath and Belvidere.

Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is possible over the area
through the overnight hours which will exacerbate any flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
