...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN MORRIS...NORTHEASTERN HUNTERDON AND NORTHERN
SOMERSET COUNTIES...

At 800 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Mendham to near Far Hills to near Bridgewater to near
White House Station, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Morristown, Bridgewater, Madison, Florham Park, East Hanover,
Chatham, Morris Plains, Mendham, Peapack And Gladstone, Far Hills,
Martinsville, Millington, Basking Ridge, Parsippany, North
Plainfield, Bernardsville, Watchung and Hanover Township.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck
by lightning.
