...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM EDT
FOR EASTERN MORRIS COUNTY...

At 746 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Mountain Lakes,
or near Morristown, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Morristown, Dover, Madison, Florham Park, East Hanover, Lincoln Park,
Kinnelon, Boonton, Butler, Rockaway, Morris Plains, Mountain Lakes,
Riverdale, Victory Gardens, Parsippany, Pequannock Township, Lake
Telemark, Bernardsville, White Meadow Lake and Hanover Township.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck
by lightning.
