...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHERN SUSSEX AND SOUTHEASTERN
CAROLINE COUNTIES...

At 637 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Seaford, or 11
miles east of Hurlock, moving east at 30 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Georgetown, Seaford, Millsboro, Laurel, Selbyville, Bridgeville,
Delmar, Dagsboro, Gumboro, Sycamore, Long Neck, Blades, Frankford and
Bethel.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
southern Delaware...and eastern Maryland.
