SOUTHEASTERN SOMERSET COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
northern New Jersey.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN MIDDLESEX COUNTY...

At 517 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Edison, or near
Perth Amboy, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Edison, East Brunswick, Carteret,
Colonia, Woodbridge, South Plainfield, Metuchen, Iselin, Sewaren,
Port Reading, Fords and Avenel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
