...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN CECIL COUNTY...

At 211 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Hollywood
Beach, or 10 miles east of Aberdeen Proving Ground, moving east at 10
mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Cecilton, Warwick, Hollywood Beach, Bohemias Mills and Cayots.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
northeastern Maryland. A severe thunderstorm watch also remains in
