...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM EDT
FOR WEST CENTRAL HUNTERDON...SOUTHWESTERN WARREN...EASTERN BERKS...
NORTH CENTRAL MONTGOMERY...SOUTHEASTERN LEHIGH...NORTHWESTERN BUCKS
AND SOUTH CENTRAL NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 546 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Riegelsville to near Hellertown to Geryville, moving
southeast at 20 mph. There are strong indications of severe wind
gusts with this storm.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem, Emmaus, Quakertown, Wilson, Hellertown,
East Greenville, Alpha, Ferndale, Frenchtown, West Easton, Milford,
Bally, Riegelsville, Green Lane, Glendon, Pleasant Valley, Revere and
Zionsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
