...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN MONMOUTH AND EAST CENTRAL MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...

At 445 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Matawan to Middletown to Tinton Falls, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Long Branch, Sandy Hook, Middletown, Old Bridge, East Brunswick,
Sayreville, Marlboro, Tinton Falls, Holmdel, Red Bank, Matawan,
Highlands, Brownville, East Freehold, Robertsville, Navesink,
Lincroft, Morganville, South River and Eatontown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
