...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM EDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN BERKS...CENTRAL LEHIGH AND CENTRAL NORTHAMPTON
COUNTIES...

At 617 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain had left the
warned area. However, it will take time for water to recede.
Therefore the threat for flash flooding continues.  Up to three
inches of rain have already fallen.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Allentown, Bethlehem, Emmaus, Northampton, Nazareth, Kutztown, Bath,
Topton, Steuben, Lyons, Lenhartsville, Coffeetown, Ancient Oaks,
Schnecksville, Claussville, Catasauqua, Coplay, Macungie, North
Catasauqua and Alburtis.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
