NORTHERN NEW CASTLE...NORTHWESTERN SALEM...NORTHWESTERN GLOUCESTER...
SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY...SOUTHEASTERN CHESTER...PHILADELPHIA AND
DELAWARE COUNTIES...

At 848 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain causing minor
flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor
flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have fallen.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Philadelphia, Camden, Wilmington, Newark, West Chester, Gloucester
City, Chester, West Deptford, Pennsville, Yeadon, Westtown, Woodbury,
Carneys Point, Conshohocken, Folcroft, Swarthmore, Elsmere,
Paulsboro, Kennett Square and New Castle.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Keep children away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
Water levels can rise rapidly and sweep children away.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
