CENTRAL KENT...NORTHEASTERN KENT...CECIL...SOUTHWESTERN SALEM AND
SOUTHWESTERN CHESTER COUNTIES...

At 710 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered over Hollywood
Beach, or 7 miles southwest of Elkton, moving east at 35 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Wilmington, Newark, Middletown, Elkton, Calvert, Pennsville, Smyrna,
Carneys Point, Elsmere, New Castle, Salem, North East, Clayton,
Delaware City, Charlestown, Newport, Cecilton, Arden, Blake and
Stanton.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
