BURLINGTON...SOUTHWESTERN MONMOUTH...SOUTHWESTERN MIDDLESEX AND
SOUTHEASTERN BUCKS COUNTIES...
At 1221 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Several gauges in Mercer County
have reported a half inch of rain in as little as fifteen minutes.
This will cause urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area.
Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Trenton, Manalapan, Ewing, Princeton, Florence, Burlington, Bristol,
Hightstown, Bordentown, Cranbury, Pennington, Yardley, Newtown,
Hopewell, Tullytown, Allentown, Roosevelt, Florence-Roebling, Six
Flags Theme Park and Cassville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
