...THE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
100 AM EDT FOR SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY...SOUTHEASTERN BUCKS AND
PHILADELPHIA COUNTIES...

At 1153 PM EDT, gauge reports indicated earlier heavy rain produced
over a half inch of accumulation in fifteen minutes in portions of
the advisory area. Additional showers are moving into the
Conshohocken area and may exacerbate urban and small stream
flooding occurring in this area currently.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Philadelphia, Bensalem, Yeadon, Burlington, Bristol, Conshohocken,
Palmyra, Hatboro, Ambler, Jenkintown, Narberth, Beverly, Rockledge,
Newtown, Abington, Langhorne, Bryn Athyn, Ivyland, Wissinoming and
Feasterville-Trevose.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
