...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT EAST CENTRAL OCEAN COUNTY...

At 157 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Beachwood, or
near Toms River, moving northeast at 10 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Beachwood, Seaside Heights, Dover Beaches South, Dover
Beaches North, Island Heights and Gilford Park.

This includes Garden State Parkway between mile markers 76 and 78.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
