The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Central Warren County in northwestern New Jersey...
  Carbon County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  Northern Northampton County in eastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 730 PM EDT.

* At 330 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. Over one inch of rain has already fallen for some
  areas with earlier storms. Additional thunderstorms will be
  capable of producing one inch or more for some area. This will
  cause flooding in the advisory area, especially in urban and poor
  drainage areas.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Lehighton, Mount Pocono, East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna, Blairstown,
  Palmerton, Bangor, Jim Thorpe, Pen Argyl, Nesquehoning, Wind Gap,
  Belvidere, Weatherly, Oxford, Hope, Belfast, East Bangor,
  Stormville, Werry Lake and Pocono Pines.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
