...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN BERKS...NORTH CENTRAL MONTGOMERY...SOUTHEASTERN
LEHIGH...NORTHWESTERN BUCKS AND SOUTH CENTRAL NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 1048 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Emmaus, or
near Allentown, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Law enforcement. Numerous reports of wind damage have been
         received from Lehigh County.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Allentown, Bethlehem, Emmaus, Quakertown, Perkasie, Bedminster,
Hellertown, Kutztown, Fleetwood, Chalfont, East Greenville, Dublin,
Topton, Ferndale, Bally, Riegelsville, Lyons, Pleasant Valley, Fricks
and Revere.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
