...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM EDT
FOR NEW CASTLE...NORTHEASTERN CECIL AND SALEM COUNTIES...

At 1022 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Newark to Saint Georges to Middletown, moving east at
30 mph. Law enforcement relayed several reports of wind damage
across Cecil County, especially near Elkton.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs,
         siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wilmington, Newark, Middletown, Elkton, Pennsville, Carneys Point,
Elsmere, New Castle, Penns Grove, Salem, North East, Woodstown,
Alloway, Quinton, Delaware City, Newport, Arden, Barksdale, Stanton
and Glasgow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These storms have a history of producing wind damage across Cecil
County. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy structure and stay away
from windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
