...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT WEST CENTRAL MORRIS...SOUTH
CENTRAL SUSSEX AND NORTHEASTERN WARREN COUNTIES...

At 904 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Great
Meadows-Vienna, or 12 miles southwest of Newton, moving east at 30
mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Dover, Hopatcong, Hackettstown, Wharton, Mount Arlington, Mendham,
Stanhope, Netcong, Hope, Chester, Andover, Great Meadows-Vienna,
Allamuchy-Panther Valley, Succasunna, Succasunna-Kenvil, Greendell,
Budd Lake and Beatyestown.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
