HUNTERDON...SOUTHERN WARREN...SOMERSET...NORTHEASTERN MIDDLESEX...
LEHIGH...NORTHWESTERN BUCKS AND SOUTHERN NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 636 PM EDT, radar indicated a broken line of strong thunderstorms
from Chester to near Bloomsbury to near Jordan Valley. Movement was
southeast at 25 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms. The strongest wind gusts are possible ahead of the storms.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm...and may cause
ponding on roadways and poor drainage areas. Do not drive your
vehicle through flooded roadways.

Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 15 miles away from a thunderstorm. If you see
lightning or hear thunder seek a safe shelter inside a building or
vehicle.

Locations impacted include...
Allentown, New Brunswick, Easton, Somerville, Somerset, Bethlehem,
Bridgewater, Carteret, Madison, Forks, Middlesex, Emmaus, Bound
Brook, Manville, Northampton, Hackettstown, Wilson, Washington,
Hellertown and Nazareth.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
