The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northeastern Mercer County in central New Jersey...
  Central Somerset County in northern New Jersey...
  Northeastern Monmouth County in central New Jersey...
  Middlesex County in northern New Jersey...

* Until 900 PM EDT.

* At 452 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. Over one inch of rain has already fallen in a short
  amount of time. This will cause flooding in the advisory area,
  especially in urban and poor drainage areas.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Somerville, Somerset, Edison,
  Middletown, Old Bridge, East Brunswick, Bridgewater, South
  Brunswick, Sayreville, North Brunswick, Marlboro, Carteret, Tinton
  Falls, Holmdel, Middlesex, Princeton, Bound Brook and Manville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
