...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT CENTRAL CARBON AND MONROE
COUNTIES...

At 504 PM EDT, a cluster of strong thunderstorms were located over
Albrightsville, Gouldsboro State Park, and near Jim Thorpe moving
northeast at 25 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Pocono, Tobyhanna, Jim Thorpe, Nesquehoning, Weatherly,
Henryville, Pocono Pines, Pocono Raceway, Lake Harmony, Skytop,
Tannersville, Mountainhome, Alpine Mountain, Long Pond,
Albrightsville, Sun Valley, Arrowhead Lake, Jonas, Meckesville and
Reeders.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
northeastern Pennsylvania.
