...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN LEHIGH...
SOUTHEASTERN CARBON AND WEST CENTRAL NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 205 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Jordan Valley,
or 8 miles south of Lehighton, moving northeast at 15 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Lehighton, Northampton, Palmerton, Slatington, Walnutport,
Danielsville, Neffs, Beltzville State Park, New Tripoli,
Berlinsville, Jordan Valley, Emerald, Beersville, Schnecksville,
Coplay, Bowmanstown, Parryville, Weissport and Weissport East.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
