The water may be deeper than you think.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Schuylkill River at Pottstown.
* Until Friday afternoon...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 6:16 PM Thursday the stage was 11.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage this evening and continue to
  rise to near 13.2 feet tonight. The river will fall below flood
  tomorrow morning.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...Portions of PA Route 724 along the
  Berks/Chester county line are closed due to high water,
  specifically Union Township in Berks county and North Coventry
  Township in Chester county.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.1
  feet on Dec 2 1996.
