...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT CECIL AND SOUTHWESTERN
CHESTER COUNTIES...

At 336 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Quarryville to Middle River.
Movement was east at 25 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Elkton, Calvert, Oxford, North East, West Grove, Rising Sun,
Charlestown, Homeville, Glen Roy, Zion, Blake, Barksdale,
Cochranville, West Nottingham, Octoraro, Mount Vernon, Fair Hill,
Glen Westover, Bay View and Lombard.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
