...THE FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR FLOODING IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS
REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM EDT FOR NORTHWESTERN KENT COUNTY...

At 348 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain causing minor
flooding has ended, but overflowing poor drainage areas will
continue to result in minor flooding in the advisory area. Between
one and two inches of rain have fallen across the advisory area.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Dover, Smyrna, Camden, Clayton, Cheswold, Woodside, Viola, Hartly,
Hazlettville, Sandtown, Wyoming, Felton, Kenton, Woodside East and
Riverview.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
