...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT EAST CENTRAL OCEAN COUNTY...

At 910 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Seaside
Heights, or near Toms River, moving southeast at 20 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Beachwood, Seaside Heights, Bamber Lake, Dover Beaches
North, Holiday City South, Dover Beaches South, Holiday
City-Berkeley, South Toms River, Island Heights, Silver Ridge,
Holiday Heights, Waretown and Gilford Park.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
