...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EST THIS EVENING...

* WINDS...West 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* TIMING...Southwest winds increasing to advisory levels late
  this morning then shifting to west through the early to mid
  afternoon with the passage of a cold front. Winds will
  diminish below advisory levels by the mid to late evening
  period.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The cold front this afternoon may also be
  accompanied by brief, heavy snow squalls which could produce
  locally higher wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph along with
  significantly reduced visibilities.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that very windy conditions are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Light-weight outdoor objects
such as patio furniture and garbage cans should be secured.
