...LOW WATER LEVELS ON THE TIDAL DELAWARE RIVER THIS MORNING...

A long period of northwest winds will cause low water levels on
the tidal Delaware River and its tidal tributaries this morning.
The low water levels may cause navigation problems around the time
of low tide. Water levels are expected to drop from 2 to 3 feet
below Mean Lower Low Water.

Low tide occurs at Reedy Point in Delaware at 6:12 AM. Low tide
at the Philadelphia Coast Guard Station takes place at 8:50 AM.
Low tide at Trenton occurs at 10:29 AM.

Northwest winds will become more light and variable this afternoon.
Therefore, water levels should return to more normal values
during subsequent low tides.
