...WIND CHILL WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 PM

* WHAT...Freezing rain mixed with snow and sleet tapering off
early this afternoon. Dangerously cold wind chills will follow
for tonight into Monday. Additional snow and sleet accumulations
of up to a half inch and additional ice accumulations of a light
glaze. Wind chills as low as 25 below zero expected overnight
tonight.
* WHERE...Carbon and Monroe counties.
* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 1 PM EST this
afternoon. For the Wind Chill Warning, from 11 PM this evening
to 1 PM EST Monday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on very slippery road conditions to
impact travel. The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on
exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. In addition, strong,
gusty winds this afternoon into tonight could result in power
outages.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet
and ice will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
A Wind Chill Warning means the combination of very cold air and
the wind will create dangerously low wind chill values. Frostbite
can occur quickly and even hypothermia or death if precautions
are not taken.
