This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Pennsylvania and
northeast Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

A light accumulating snow is expected with the highest amounts in
the Lehigh Valley/Berks County, northwestern New Jersey and the
Poconos. Hazardous travel is possible and there could be some impact
on the Friday morning commute.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern Delaware, northeast
Maryland, central New Jersey, northern New Jersey, southern New
Jersey and southeast Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

A light accumulating snow is expected with the highest amounts in
the Lehigh Valley/Berks County, northwestern New Jersey and the
Poconos. Hazardous travel is possible and there could be some impact
on the Friday morning commute.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A significant storm system will affect the area Saturday through
Sunday with snow, mixed precipitation, and heavy rain. Snow will
develop Saturday afternoon with some accumulation possible before a
change to heavy rain from south to north Saturday night. There may
also be a period of freezing rain and sleet during this transition.
The rain could be heavy enough to lead to urban and small stream
flooding issues Saturday night into early Sunday with river flooding
possible by late day Sunday.

Rain will come to an end by late day Sunday as a strong cold front
moves through with strong NW winds and rapidly falling temperatures
as arctic air rapidly moves in. This will lead to quick refreezing
of wet and slushy surfaces causing very ice conditions.

Dangerous wind chills Sunday night through Tuesday.

Delaware, northeast Maryland, central New Jersey and southern New
Jersey.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A significant storm system will move across the region late Saturday
through Sunday. While precipitation in this area looks to fall
mainly as rain, there could be a brief period of snow at the onset
Saturday evening. Heavy rain will then follow by overnight Saturday
night into Sunday morning. The rain could be heavy enough to lead to
flooding.

Rain will come to an end by late day Sunday as a strong cold front
moves through with strong NW winds and rapidly falling temperatures
as arctic air rapidly moves in. This will lead to quick refreezing
of wet surfaces causing very ice conditions.
