...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON...
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect until 1 PM EST this afternoon.
* WINDS...Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 to 50 mph.
* TIMING...Northwest winds will increase this morning, peaking
around mid-morning before starting to subside into this
afternoon.
* IMPACTS...The strong winds will blow around unsecured objects.
Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
result.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Wind Advisory means that very windy conditions are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially if you
are operating a large vehicle. Light-weight outdoor objects such
as patio furniture and garbage cans should be secured.
