* Flood Advisory for...
  Northwestern Morris County in northern New Jersey...
  Northwestern Hunterdon County in northwestern New Jersey...
  Sussex County in northwestern New Jersey...
  Warren County in northwestern New Jersey...
  Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  Northampton County in eastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 300 PM EST.

* At 1058 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated an area of moderate to
  occasionally heavy rainfall across the advisory area. Radar
  estimates and automated rain gauges indicate up to one inch of
  rain has already fallen in the last couple of hours, with an
  additional inch possible in the next couple of hours. This heavy
  rain will lead to rises on small creeks and streams, and flooding
  of poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Easton, Port Jervis, Newton, Montague, Mount Pocono, Bethlehem,
  Hopatcong, Forks, East Stroudsburg, Hackettstown, Wilson,
  Washington, Blairstown, Hellertown, Nazareth, Bangor, Mount
  Arlington, Franklin, High Bridge and Stanhope.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
