* At 2:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 19.25 feet. The level is steady.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will remain steady tonight then fall below flood stage
  tomorrow evening.
* Impact...At 19.5 feet...Horseneck Road in Fairfield is subject to flooding and
  closures.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.3 feet on Mar 30
  1994.
