...THE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
630 AM EST FOR MORRIS...SUSSEX AND WARREN COUNTIES...

At 454 AM EST, gauge reports indicated area creeks and streams
remain high. The Pequest River in Warren County continues rising and
is now above action stage. Runoff will continue to pose a risk of
minor flooding for the next couple of hours.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Morristown, Port Jervis, Newton, Montague, Dover, Madison, Hopatcong,
Florham Park, East Hanover, Kinnelon, Hackettstown, Chatham, Boonton,
Butler, Wharton, Washington, Rockaway, Blairstown, Morris Plains and
Mount Arlington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
