...THE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
330 AM EST FOR MORRIS...SUSSEX AND WARREN COUNTIES...

At 201 AM EST, stream and river gauges in the advisory area were
still running high. Though the heavy rainfall has ended, it will
take some time for the runoff to recede.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Morristown, Port Jervis, Newton, Montague, Dover, Madison, Hopatcong,
Florham Park, East Hanover, Kinnelon, Hackettstown, Chatham, Boonton,
Butler, Wharton, Washington, Rockaway, Blairstown, Morris Plains and
Mount Arlington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
