...FLOOD WATCH HAS EXPIRED...

The Flood Watch for portions of central New Jersey, northern New
Jersey, and southern New Jersey has expired.

Around three quarters to one and one quarter inches of rain fell
across the watch area overnight. While more rain is expected to
fall through this morning, it is not expected to cause any
additional problems on the area rivers. Poor drainage and low-
lying flooding is likely to continue in the more prone areas.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST TODAY...

The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of New Jersey and southeast Pennsylvania, including
  the following areas, in New Jersey, Hunterdon, Mercer, Morris,
  and Somerset. In southeast Pennsylvania, Lower Bucks and Upper
  Bucks.

* Until noon EST today

* Periods of heavy rain will continue through this morning.
  Amounts of up to two inches are possible. This could lead to
  small stream as well as main-stem flooding. Poor drainage and
  low- lying flooding is likely.

* The risk of low-lying and small stream flooding will increase
  overnight into Saturday. The risk of main-stem flooding will
  increase late Saturday into Saturday night. Please refer to
  the Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service (AHPS) website for
  both Passaic and Raritan Basin crest forecasts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
