...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT CENTRAL OCEAN AND SOUTHEASTERN
BURLINGTON COUNTIES...

At 1227 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Penn State
Forest, or 22 miles southwest of Toms River, moving northeast at 35
mph.

Wind gusts up to 30 mph are possible with these showers and storms.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these showers and storms...and
may cause ponding on roadways and poor drainage areas. Do not drive
your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these showers
and storms. Lightning can strike 15 miles away from a thunderstorm.
If you see lightning or hear thunder seek a safe shelter inside a
building or vehicle.

Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Barnegat, Beachwood, Lakehurst, Holiday City South,
Warren Grove, Chatsworth, Wharton State Forest, Holiday
City-Berkeley, Bamber Lake, Cedar Glen Lakes, Whiting, Brookville,
Pine Ridge At Crestwood, Old Halfway, Penn State Forest, Beach Haven
West, Leisure Village West-Pine Lake Park, South Toms River and
Silver Ridge.

This includes Garden State Parkway between mile markers 59 and 80.
