...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM EDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN ATLANTIC...CENTRAL OCEAN...SOUTHEASTERN CAMDEN...
EAST CENTRAL GLOUCESTER AND SOUTHEASTERN BURLINGTON COUNTIES...

At 531 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles northeast of Barnegat to 6 miles north of
Buena, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs,
         siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Barnegat, Hammonton, Beachwood, Shamong, Egg Harbor City,
Tuckerton, Seaside Heights, Chesilhurst, Surf City, Port Republic,
Sicklerville, Elwood-Magnolia, Atsion, Wading River, Holiday City
South, Warren Grove, Wharton State Forest, Bamber Lake and
Brookville.

This includes the following highways...
 Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 28 and 39.
 Garden State Parkway between mile markers 50 and 82.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
