...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHERN BERKS AND NORTH CENTRAL
CHESTER COUNTIES...

At 818 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Newmanstown, or
7 miles southeast of Myerstown, moving east at 30 mph.

Wind gusts up to 45 mph and penny size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Reading, Coatesville, Wyomissing, Birdsboro, Sinking Spring,
Laureldale, Womelsdorf, Wernersville, Newmanstown, Leesport, Honey
Brook, Elverson, Bernville, Bechtelsville, New Morgan, Spring Ridge,
Fairview Hgts, Glenmoore, Stowe and Shillington.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
