...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM EDT
FOR WEST CENTRAL MORRIS...NORTHERN HUNTERDON AND SOUTHERN WARREN
COUNTIES...

At 620 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Pleasant
Valley, or 8 miles east of Easton, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs,
         siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hackettstown, Washington, High Bridge, Harmony, Oxford, Alpha, Glen
Gardner, Hampton, Califon, Bloomsbury, Brass Castle, Pleasant Valley,
Roxburg, Beatyestown, Long Valley, Phillipsburg and Beattyestown.

This includes Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 2 and
12.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move
indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers.
Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck
by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
