...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN LEHIGH...NORTH CENTRAL BUCKS AND CENTRAL NORTHAMPTON
COUNTIES...

At 605 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bath, or 9
miles northeast of Allentown, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Wind damage
         to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem, Forks, Northampton, Wilson, Hellertown,
Nazareth, Wind Gap, Bath, Belfast, West Easton, Tatamy, Riegelsville,
Steuben, Glendon, Lehigh University, Beersville, Old Orchard and
Catasauqua.

This includes Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 64
and 76.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move
indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers.
Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck
by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
