...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 PM EDT
FOR WEST CENTRAL OCEAN AND NORTHEASTERN BURLINGTON COUNTIES...

At 345 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Presidential
Lakes, or 23 miles west of Toms River, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs,
         siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Presidential Lakes Estates, Wrightstown, Whiting, Presidential Lakes,
Browns Mills, Chatsworth, Cedar Glen Lakes, Leisuretowne, Country
Lake Estates, Pemberton Heights, Fort Dix and Crestwood Village.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move
indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers.
Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck
by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
