...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM EDT FOR CENTRAL
MONTGOMERY...SOUTHEASTERN BUCKS...CENTRAL CHESTER AND NORTHERN
PHILADELPHIA COUNTIES...

At 859 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported minor flooding in
Chester and Montgomery Counties. A multi-vehicle collision occurred
on Highway 202 near West Valley Road in Chester County as a result
of a flooded roadway. Street flooding is also occurring on Gulph
Road and Valley Forge Road in Upper Merion Township. Though the
heavy rainfall is shifting southeast of the advisory area, runoff
will continue to cause problems for the next hour.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Philadelphia, West Chester, Bensalem, Norristown, Phoenixville,
Lansdale, West Norriton, East Norriton, Coatesville, Downingtown,
Conshohocken, Hatboro, Ambler, Collegeville, Royersford, Jenkintown,
Parkesburg, Trappe, Rockledge and Abington.

This includes Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 33
and 35.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
