...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN OCEAN AND SOUTHEASTERN MONMOUTH COUNTIES...

At 600 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Ramtown to Pine Ridge At Crestwood, moving east at 20
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Lakewood, Jackson, Beachwood, Manasquan, Point Pleasant
Beach, Seaside Heights, Lakehurst, Mantoloking, Leisure Village,
Allenwood, Holiday City South, Pleasant Plains, Cedar Glen West,
Leisure Village East, Holiday City-Berkeley, Bamber Lake, Ramtown,
Brick Township and Pine Ridge At Crestwood.

This includes the following highways...
 Garden State Parkway between mile markers 75 and 98.
 Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 25 and 27, and
between mile markers 30 and 34.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm, and
the storm will affect the beaches. For your safety, immediately move
off the beach and seek shelter indoors.
