...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN NEW CASTLE AND
NORTHWESTERN SALEM COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southern, central and northwestern New Jersey...and southeastern
Pennsylvania.

FOR NORTHWESTERN CAMDEN...CENTRAL MERCER...NORTHWESTERN GLOUCESTER...
NORTHWESTERN BURLINGTON...SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY...SOUTHEASTERN
BUCKS...PHILADELPHIA AND SOUTHEASTERN DELAWARE COUNTIES...

At 547 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Yardley to Riverside to West Deptford, moving east at
25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Philadelphia, Trenton, Camden, Gloucester City, Cherry Hill,
Bensalem, Mount Laurel, Ewing, Willingboro, Deptford, West Deptford,
Princeton, Florence, Bellmawr, Yeadon, Woodbury, Burlington, Bristol,
Riverside and Palmyra.

This includes Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 12
and 49, and between mile markers 64 and 76.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
