...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM EDT
FOR NORTHERN KENT...NORTHEASTERN QUEEN ANNE'S AND NORTHEASTERN
CAROLINE COUNTIES...

At 450 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sandtown, or 11
miles southwest of Dover, moving south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs,
         siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dover, Camden, Cheswold, Sudlersville, Goldsboro, Woodside, Hartly,
Rising Sun-Lebanon, Hazlettville, Dover Base Housing, Dover Speedway,
Sandtown, Rising Sun, Wyoming, Kenton, Little Creek, Leipsic,
Henderson, Marydel and Templeville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
