area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A tornado watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central,
northern and southern Delaware...eastern and northeastern Maryland...
southern New Jersey...and southeastern Pennsylvania.

CAROLINE...NORTHEASTERN KENT...SOUTHEASTERN CECIL...WEST CENTRAL
CUMBERLAND...WESTERN SALEM AND WEST CENTRAL GLOUCESTER COUNTIES...

At 455 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Stanton to near Goldsboro to near Hurlock, moving east
at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wilmington, Dover, Newark, Middletown, Elkton, Pennsville, Smyrna,
Carneys Point, Seaford, Elsmere, New Castle, Penns Grove, Salem,
Denton, Laurel, Harrington, Woodstown, Alloway, Camden and Clayton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Mount Holly NJ.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
