...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN ATLANTIC...
SOUTHEASTERN CUMBERLAND AND NORTHWESTERN CAPE MAY COUNTIES...
At 217 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near North Cape May,
or 10 miles northwest of Cape May, moving north at 55 mph.
Winds up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Millville, Cumberland, Laurel Lake, Woodbine, Estell Manor,
Mauricetown, Belleplain Forest, Leesburg, Port Norris, Dividing
Creek, Bricksboro, Port Elizabeth, Bivalve, Eldora, North Cape May
and Villas.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

agency. They can relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Mount Holly NJ.
A tornado watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for southern New
Jersey.
